Questions
Your questions, answered.
Answers to common questions about opening, booking, insurance and your first visit.
When do you open?
We open in spring 2027 at 1381 Lakeshore Road East, Unit C2. Join the waitlist and we'll contact you as soon as booking opens.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. We welcome new patients of all ages, from young children to grandparents.
Do I need a referral?
No. You don't need a referral to see us, and new patients are always welcome.
How do I switch from my current dentist?
Just tell us when you book. With your permission, we can request your records and x-rays from your previous dentist, so you don't have to.
Do you bill insurance directly?
We plan to offer electronic claim submissions for participating insurers. We’ll confirm the arrangements before opening and explain amounts not covered.
Do you accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?
We'll share our CDCP details before we open. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your insurance card or plan details, photo ID, a list of any medications you take, and your previous dentist's contact information if you have it.
When should my child first see a dentist?
Canadian guidelines recommend a first visit within six months of the first tooth, or by age one.
How often should I come in for a checkup?
It depends on your teeth and gums. After your first visit, we'll recommend a schedule that suits you and adjust it over time.
I'm nervous about the dentist. Can you help?
Please let us know if you feel nervous or have questions about your visit. We can explain what to expect and discuss your concerns before treatment.
What if I have a dental emergency?
Text or call us and we'll find the earliest time. If you're not sure whether it's urgent, text or call anyway.
Which areas do you serve?
We're at Lakeshore Road East and Dixie Road in Lakeview, a short trip from Port Credit, Mineola, Applewood, Cooksville, Lorne Park, Clarkson, Long Branch, Alderwood and Etobicoke. Patients from all of Mississauga are welcome.
Is the office accessible?
Our reception includes an accessible counter. If you need anything else to make your visit easier, tell us when you book.
